Brad Chuck at DXC Technology

A comprehensive overview of my role, duties, and execution of projects as the global partner marketing manager at DXC Technology, one of the biggest IT consultancy companies in the world.

During my tenure as the Global Partner Marketing Manager at DXC Technology from April '21 to August '23, I spearheaded partner marketing initiatives for industry giants such as Microsoft, Oracle, Salesforce, ServiceNow, and Dell across a diverse range of sectors including Manufacturing, Finance, Retail, Construction, Public Sector, Charity, Health, Education, and Professional Services. My responsibilities included developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies, overseeing the planning and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, and managing the marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources.  Below is a review of the multiple projects I executed to develop the growth and sustainability of DXC Technology. 

Event Marketing and Management

DXC at Digital Manufacturing Week 2022

 Unquestionably, one of my finest marketing achievements in DXC Technology took place at Smart Factory Expo in 2022.

Setting the vision, plan, and strategy to win the funding to take DXC to a prime customer-focused trade show and exhibition, albeit with incredible time restraints and limited support, was a phenomenal effort.

But by working with our partners from Microsoft, Dell Technologies, and Formpipe, we achieved the most successful customer-facing event program that DXC had seen since before the pandemic.

A true collaboration effort that embraced our solutions in the Manufacturing space - the journey with many new customers and projects began here last November.

DXC at Construction Week

 At DXC Technology, we embarked on an exciting journey during Construction Week in 2022, where we showcased our groundbreaking Mixed Reality solution to UK Homebuilder and Construction customers. Despite post-pandemic uncertainties, our unwavering belief in our solution propelled us forward. Collaborating with Microsoft, we unveiled the fusion of Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality, leading the charge in AI technology and digital transformation. As pioneers, we demonstrated our expertise and commitment to innovation, captivating our audience with immersive experiences and transformative possibilities. Our presence at the trade show solidified our leadership in the field, shaping the future of AI and digital transformation. Reflecting on our journey, we are proud of our achievements but remain dedicated to pushing boundaries and unlocking new possibilities in mixed reality. DXC at Hannover Messe

 At Hannover Messe 2023, I led a transformative project for DXC Technology that showcased the evolution of marketing in today's digital landscape. Leveraging cutting-edge technologies like Artificial Intelligence and marketing automation, we redefined the traditional concept of marketing by embracing sales enablement. By identifying and engaging with customers when they were 'Project Ready,' we provided tailored solutions and seamlessly transitioned them to the solution architect team. This approach facilitated more meaningful interactions and smoother handovers, ultimately driving business growth and delivering better results. The project highlighted the significance of adapting to the ever-changing digital landscape and leveraging innovative tools to engage with customers effectively. As marketing continues to evolve, embracing sales enablement and leveraging technology will be instrumental in meeting the evolving needs of customers and driving success in the digital era.

My collaboration with the Manchester United Foundation and DXC Technology was a remarkable experience that highlighted the power of technology in inspiring young minds. During #techtalks sessions, I shared my knowledge with students, encouraging them to envision a digital future together. Teaching IT to children proved to be both rewarding and joyful, fostering curiosity, problem-solving skills, and creativity while empowering future opportunities.


As part of DXC's partnership with the Manchester United Foundation, I played a key role in organizing a high-profile event aimed at sparking students' interest in the IT industry. Acting as a Team Leader, I delivered engaging workshops showcasing DXC's innovative projects. My adaptable delivery style ensured that all students remained fully engaged throughout the event, leaving a positive impression and opening their eyes to the possibilities within the tech industry.

Through meticulous editing, I ensured the video effectively conveyed the transformative capabilities of DXC's Mixed Reality solution, captivating audiences and driving engagement

In my Global role supporting key partners with marketing, communications, and projects to deliver service solutions to DXC customers, I collaborated with global sales and project delivery teams across Modern Workplace, Applications, Security, Cloud, Data, Analytics and Mixed Reality, in delivering tangible solutions to customers and prospects.

As the Microsoft Partner Marketing Manager at DXC, I led strategic initiatives to drive collaboration and maximize the value of the partnership. Orchestrated marketing strategies, coordinated joint campaigns, and ensured alignment with Microsoft's objectives, contributing to DXC's success in delivering innovative solutions and driving customer engagement. 

AWS

Played a pivotal role in supporting DXC's participation at Hannover Messe, coordinating marketing efforts with AWS, and ensuring alignment with event objectives. I facilitated joint promotions, provided AWS expertise, and maximized the impact of DXC's presence, fostering collaboration and driving engagement at the event. 

Salesforce

Spearheaded initiatives to optimize the Salesforce partnership. Strategized and executed marketing campaigns, fostering collaboration between DXC and Salesforce to deliver impactful solutions. My efforts drove customer engagement, strengthened relationships, and contributed to DXC's success in leveraging Salesforce technologies. 

Oracle

As the Oracle Partner Marketing Manager at DXC, I was instrumental in nurturing the partnership relationship, helping to build strong connections with Oracle, and fostering collaboration and alignment on strategic objectives. I facilitated joint initiatives, leveraged Oracle's expertise, and fostered a mutually beneficial relationship, driving success and value for both DXC and Oracle. 

ServiceNow

Led content creation and sales support initiatives to enhance the partnership. I developed compelling content aligned with ServiceNow's offerings, empowering sales teams with valuable resources. I facilitated seamless collaboration between DXC and ServiceNow, ensuring effective sales enablement and driving success in delivering ServiceNow solutions to customers. 

Google Cloud

I was strategically brought into the partner team to support a crucial communication project. My expertise in communication and marketing played a vital role in enhancing DXC's collaboration with Google Cloud, helping to orchestrated effective communication strategies, ensuring alignment with Google Cloud's objectives and driving impactful joint initiatives.  

Dell Technologies

As the Dell Partner Marketing Manager at DXC, I brought my infectious energy and positive attitude to every interaction, representing DXC at the highest levels. My enthusiasm and innovative thinking enhanced collaboration between DXC and Dell, driving impactful joint initiatives.

My deep insights into the Apple ecosystem and partnership strategies have been invaluable in maximizing DXC's collaboration with Apple. My expertise in leveraging partner programs, such as MDFs, and driving business growth through this unique relationship has been compelling and rewarding.

In Reflection

As I reflect on my departure from DXC, the overwhelming feedback from colleagues and partners speaks volumes about the impact I had on the company. It's heartening to see the genuine sadness expressed by many, emphasizing the positive contributions I made during my time at DXC. The sentiments shared underscore the deep appreciation for my leadership, passion, and ability to drive meaningful change. It's clear that my departure left a void at DXC, highlighting the significance of my role within the organisation. 


My departure from DXC was not by choice, and it was a challenging time filled with uncertainties and legal battles. I had hoped to continue contributing to DXC's success, and leaving was a decision that raised many concerns. Despite the circumstances, I remain grateful for the opportunities and experiences I had at DXC, and it's difficult for me to express any negative sentiments about my time there.
